the backwards-song is inspired; "the rest of my life" is so pure Beatles-y it's uncanny...

Now, that backwards song-- pretty obvious idea yet conceptual/experimental enough that i cant recall anyone else having done, at least back then: they listened to a tape backwards and MIMICKED the distorted backwards-vocals there, MORPHING the heard syllables toward the closest words, creating a 'found' surreal poem for the lyrics...keeping the bkwrds music as found for their accompaniment.
They were LIMITED to using words close in [highly subjective] sound to the bkwrds-heard 'found' sounds...thus a partial psychological 'rorschach' is created: each person will hear slightly different word-approximations in the 'back-words' [i may be inspired later to add a transcription of these lyrics]
They also keep true to the occasional bizarro shuffled-cards rushed phrasing backwrds tape of singing creates....

I AM GLAD YOU GUYS ENJOYED THIS LP AS MUCH AS I DO.AND GE, THE SONG MY MARY IS DONE EXACTLY LIKE YOU SAID, AT LEAST THAT IS THE WAY I ASSUMEMED IT WAS DONE. THE LYRICS ARE PRETTY MUCH WHAT I HEAR AS WELL. AS WILD AS IT IS, IT IS DEFINITLEY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS ON THIS RECORD. MY FAVORITE CUT IS "BLUE WAYS" BY THE WAY.
AND GYULA, WHEN I UPLOADED THE LP AND TRANSFERED IT TO MY COMPUTER, IF THERE IS NO KNOWN INFO ON THE BAND, LIKE IF YOU UPLOADED A CD, SOMETIMES BAND INFO COMES UP AUTOMATICALLY. IN THE CASE OF UPLOADING AN LP, NO INFO COMES UP EXCEPT TRACK 1,2,ETC. OR VARIOUS ARTIST. USUALLY I WOULD EDIT THE VARIOUS ARTISTS OUT AND TRACK INFO, BUT IN THIS CASE I DIDN'T. THIS IS ONE BAND FROM THEIR ONE AND ONLY LP.

Bowie's Lodger that best cut MOVE ON uses "All the Young Dudes" played backwards; which was fun discovering w/ backplayed tape then
